A 3-year old ethnic Serb child has been injured in an explosion in Serbia’s Kosovo province.
The 3-year old child A.K. was hurt after a strong explosion went off in the center of the northern part of the city of Kosovska Mitrovica.
The child was injured after the roof of the building in which the child resides exploded.
The doctor said that the child is not in danger for its life but that the child will remain in the hospital because of injuries above the knee.
The injury of the little ethnic Serb child was the result of attempts by the ethnic Albanian separatist to bomb telecommunications equipment in the province.
Ethnic Albanian separatists have been destroying telecommunications in the province claiming that it is illegal because it is owned by Serbian businessmen from whom they seek to acquire ownership.
EU’s police mission arrived at the scene of the crime. The EU police routinely arrives at many scenes of crimes committed against ethnic Serbs and very few if any of the crimes are remedied.
Today’s explosion that has decapitated the ethnic Serbian child is the third one in last 3 days in Kosovo.
Two days ago, the family home of ethnic Serb families of Milosavljevic and Stojkovic have been bombed by “unknown assailants” in the village of Zvecan while machine gun fire was heard in the village of Zubin Potok.
Kosovo Albanian separatists insist that they are a democracy where human rights of ethnic Serbs, whom they dominate and routinely attack, are protected.
Serbian President Tadic has characterized the demolition of Serbian property in Kosovo as “provocation”.
The latest attacks on Serbian owned telecommunications property in Kosovo are not new. In the past Serbia has done nothing to protect the property of their corporations whose property was demolished and confiscated by Albanian Muslim separatists.
Recently, Serbia’s President Tadic said that Serbia is “the best place to invest”.
Most companies value protection of their property by the host government.
