Jean Michel Jarre, the flamboyant French composer known for his dazzling light-show gigs, has held talks with UK officials about relocating his business to London's 'Tech City,' which encourages investors with tax incentives.

In December, France's highest court rejected the Socialist government's proposed attempt to impose a 75 percent tax on income over 1 million euros. The initiative led Gerard Depardieu, one of the country's biggest movie stars, to relocate to Belgium.

Entrepreneurs around the world are keen to relocate to Tech City, hailed as a hub for London's media and tech industries. According to the Telegraph, the project is set to transform the Old Street roundabout in east London and its environs into a European center of media and technology innovation for blue-chip firms, investors and startup companies.

When he is not busy performing shows across the world, the 64-year-old electronic musician manages the company Jarre Technologies. Founded in 2005, the company makes audio products such as the AeroPad One, a dock speaker for iPods, iPads and iPhones. 

Last year, Jarre performed a massive concert in Monaco to celebrate the marriage of Prince Albert. 

Jarre was previously married to Charlotte Rampling, the star of Francois Ozon's Swimming Pool drama, with whom he has a son.
