Turkish military helicopters have evacuated 633 flood victims in Albania in the past seven days, Turkey’s General Staff said on its website Sunday.
Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) on Saturday sent three helicopters which carried 45.4 tons of aid from Gjader air base to Albania, said the military.
The helicopters evacuated 206 flood victims from the flooded areas on Saturday, raising the total number of rescued people to 633 in the past seven days, added the military.
From Dec. 5 to 11, Turkish helicopters carried a total of 242.9 tons of aid materials to the disaster areas in Albania, added the military.
